Carragher Rates Salah Above Ronaldo in Premier League Legacy

In a column for the Telegraph, former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher rated Mohamed Salah above Cristiano Ronaldo and other Premier League legends, asserting that Salah will leave Anfield at the end of the season. Carragher ranked Salah among the greatest overseas attackers in Premier League history, placing Thierry Henry above him.

He noted that while comparing Salah to other Premier League icons such as Eden Hazard, Gianfranco Zola, Dennis Bergkamp, and Eric Cantona, none of these players matched Salah's sustained excellence in the English top flight. Carragher pointed out that Ronaldo spent a significant portion of his peak years outside England, particularly during his time at Real Madrid.

Since his £34 million move from Roma to Liverpool in 2017, Salah has delivered remarkable performances, recording 189 goals and 92 assists, solidifying his status as a dominant attacking force in recent Premier League history and contributing significantly to Liverpool's success.
