Salah Breaks Carragher's European Appearance Record

On Tuesday night, Mohamed Salah achieved a significant milestone by surpassing Jamie Carragher's record for Liverpool FC, becoming the club's all-time record appearance maker in European competitions. Salah featured in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg tie against Galatasaray in Turkey, bringing his total appearances to 81, overtaking Carragher's previous record of 80.

Despite this achievement, Salah did not score during the match and was substituted for Jeremie Frimpong in the 60th minute. Salah joined Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017 and has made a remarkable impact in the Premier League and Champions League since then.
