Governor Francis Nwifuru Celebrates 51st Birthday in Ebonyi

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State celebrated his 51st birthday, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey since taking office in 2023. Nwifuru, a distinguished two-time speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, has laid a solid foundation for purposeful leadership.

His administration has adopted a people-centered charter, prioritizing security, human capital development, infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment. Key initiatives include a zero-tolerance approach to crime, enhancing security through collaboration with local communities, and improving the operational capacity of security agencies.

Nwifuru's administration has also focused on infrastructure development, including the construction and rehabilitation of rural roads, and reviving local industries. In education, significant reforms have been implemented, including the construction of 39 model secondary schools and financial support for students.

The healthcare sector has seen the introduction of a health insurance scheme and upgraded hospital facilities. Additionally, the administration has prioritized worker welfare, approving salary increases and special packages for civil servants.
