Ebonyi Indigenes in Lagos Endorse Nwifuru for 2027

A large-scale solidarity rally was held in Lagos, where Ebonyi indigenes endorsed Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for re-election in the 2027 general elections. The event attracted a diverse group of participants, including traders, professionals, artisans, and community leaders, and was convened by Nwigw Chibuez Uzo, a grassroots ambassador.

Attendees expressed their satisfaction with Nwifuru's performance, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, education, security, and welfare. They noted the need for visible impacts across the state as outlined in the administration's people's charter.

The rally featured chants and songs in support of Nwifuru's second term, which was described as necessary to sustain ongoing development initiatives beyond the current governorship. Kama Nkemkanma, representing Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo Federal Constituency, and Anthony Okori from the Ebonyi South Senatorial District, justified the need for continued representation based on legislative performance and development efforts.

David Nweze Umahi, a minister, commended the contributions to national infrastructure development and urged critics not to distract from their duties.
