Izzi Youth Forum Endorses Governor Nwifuru for Second Term

On Thursday, the Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum officially endorsed Governor Franci Nwifuru for a second term in office during a large gathering at the forum's secretariat near Nkaliki Junction along the Abakaliki-Afikpo expressway. Dr.

Chibuez Elom, the leader of the forum, announced the unanimous decision, which was based on a careful assessment of the governor's performance since he assumed office in 2023. The youth body expressed satisfaction with the governor's policies and achievements, believing it is the right time to support his re-election bid.

Elom described Nwifuru's administration as people-oriented and welfare-driven, noting significant progress in infrastructure and human capital development. The forum highlighted initiatives such as the sponsorship of students across 13 local government areas for overseas scholarships and ongoing ICT projects.

Hon. Paul Nwogha, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Chieftaincy Matters and Rural Development, commended the youth for their endorsement and pledged to relay their message to the governor.
