Celine Dion's Triumphant Return to Paris Stage After 6 Years

Celine Dion performed her first full concert in over six years on September 12, 2026, at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, Paris, in front of approximately 30,000 fans. This concert marked the beginning of her long-awaited Paris residency, which includes 26 shows scheduled for 2026 and 2027.

Dion opened the concert with her French-language song “On ne change pas” and became emotional as the audience welcomed her with cheers, prompting her to pause. She expressed gratitude for the support and patience of her fans, stating, “I made a promise to come back, to be back on stage.” The concert featured a 25-song set lasting about two hours and 15 minutes, including hits like “Pour que tu m’aimes encore,” “The Power of Love,” and “My Heart Will Go On.” Dion's return is significant as she has been dealing with stiff-person syndrome, a neurological disorder, since announcing her diagnosis in 2022.
