Anambra First Lady Condemns Child Abuse Case in Onitsha

Dr Nonye Soludo, the First Lady of Anambra State, condemned the alleged sexual abuse and exploitation of a child by her supposed mother, Anulika Onyeanusia, in Onitsha. The Anambra State Police Command arrested Onyeanusia, a 36-year-old woman, after a disturbing video surfaced showing her allegedly using sex toys on a minor.

During the arrest, police rescued four children aged two, three, six, and nine, and recovered sex toys and other relevant items. In a statement, Soludo expressed her deep concern over the incident, stating that no child deserves such trauma and that society must protect its vulnerable members.

She commended the police for their actions and urged a thorough investigation to ensure justice. Soludo also highlighted the importance of addressing the emotional and psychological needs of the rescued children, pledging to follow the case closely and work with authorities to ensure their protection and healing.
