Champion Breweries Reports N35.7bn Revenue for H1 2026

Champion Breweries Plc announced a revenue of N35.73bn for the first half of 2026, as per its unaudited results for the six months ending June 30, 2026. The revenue growth was attributed to enhanced operating performance and the acquisition of an 80% equity stake in EnjoyBev B.V.

The company reported an operating profit of ₦6.17bn and a profit after tax attributable to the Group of N2.65bn. In the second quarter, revenue reached N21.37bn, with a profit after tax of N1.76bn.

Despite increased finance costs affecting profitability, Champion Breweries maintained a resilient operating profit due to ongoing investments in brand development and distribution capabilities. The acquisition broadened its business into complementary beverage categories and regional markets.

The company also completed a capital-raising program, increasing shareholders’ equity to N69.08bn and achieving a free float of 25.72% as of June 30, 2026. Acting Managing Director Rasheed Adebiyi described the acquisition as a significant milestone for the company.
