Nigerian Breweries Plc has filed its unaudited and provisional results for the six months ended 30th June 2026. The filing discloses group revenue, profit figures, earnings per share, and a commentary on the company's financial position.

Nigerian Breweries Plc reported group revenue of ₦803.7 billion for the half year ended 30th June 2026, a 9% increase compared to ₦738.1 billion recorded in the same period of 2025. Gross profit rose 14% to ₦354.9 billion, with the gross profit margin expanding by 2 percentage points year-on-year.

Results from operating activities grew 8% to ₦164.0 billion. Net finance expense fell sharply by 61%, declining from ₦19.7 billion to ₦7.6 billion, which contributed to an 18% increase in profit before tax to ₦156.3 billion. Income tax charges rose 45% to ₦63.4 billion, which the company attributed to new tax rates, limiting profit after tax growth to 5% at ₦93.0 billion.

Basic earnings per share stood at 300 kobo, up from 285 kobo in H1 2025. The company disclosed that its borrowings are at zero, and that retained earnings have returned to a positive position. Selling, distribution and administrative expenses increased 20% to ₦193.0 billion. The filing notes other income of ₦2.1 billion, up 39% from the prior period.
