SBA Golf Club Celebrates Inaugural Lady Captain’s Tournament

The SBA Golf Club held its inaugural Lady Captain’s tournament from May 28 to May 30, 2023, marking a significant event under the leadership of new Lady Captain Mowaninuola Adeladan. The tournament attracted golfers from across Nigeria and featured three days of competition across various categories, including professional, caddy, veteran, ladies, and guest players.

Oid Bless delivered an outstanding performance, winning the ladies' category with a gross score of 95 and a net score of 66, finishing ahead of competitors such as Ladipo Olubusola, Agn David Bella Smith, and Iyabo Ogunnaik. In the men's division, Alli Sundai showcased remarkable consistency, securing victory with a gross score of 71 and a net score of 62.

Adenik Salihu emerged as the winner in the guest player category, while Nike Festu claimed the title in the veteran category. Oseni Elamah was recognized as the deserving champion in the veteran category with a gross score of 101, translating to a net score of 73.

This tournament not only celebrated individual successes but also strengthened friendships across the club, setting the stage for future championships.
