Charity Foundation Supports Abuja Pupils with Donations

On Thursday, the Charity Foundation, led by Dr. Peter Olumuji, donated school bags and educational materials to pupils in underserved communities in Abuja. The initiative, themed “Building Tomorrow Today: One Bag, One Child,” aims to enhance access to essential learning resources.

Dr. Olumuji highlighted the significance of providing basic educational tools for academic development, aligning the initiative with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal Four on Quality Education, Goal 10 on Reduced Inequalities, and Goal 17 on Partnerships for the Goals. The event was attended by officials from the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), including Dr. Jumai Ahmadu, who stressed the need for increased support for low-income families to ensure equitable education access.

Mrs. Ukachi Adebayo, Head of Enforcement at the FCT Social Development Secretariat, praised the foundation's efforts and called for collaboration among stakeholders to address educational challenges. Mrs. Helen Adejare, the Headmistress, expressed gratitude for the donation and urged further support for improving school conditions.
