Foundation Aids Over 250 Ogun Children with School Supplies

On Tuesday, the Treasured Points of Light Foundation provided school materials to over 250 children in Akinjole Town, Ewekoro Local Government Area, Ogun State, as part of its annual Back-to-School Outreach for the 2026/2027 academic session. The initiative, held at the Palace of the Baale of Akinjole Town, aimed to ease financial burdens on families and encourage children to return to school confidently.

Beneficiaries, ranging from kindergarten to senior secondary school levels, received items such as school bags, exercise books, stationery, textbooks, shoes, and lunch boxes. The event included interactive activities, including a musical alphabet game coordinated by Mrs Odunbosi Taiwo.

Dr Damilola Ibigbami, the foundation’s Director of Logistics and Planning, noted that the outreach has been organized annually for about eight years, emphasizing the rising costs of educational materials. She encouraged children to focus on their studies, stating that education is essential for achieving their aspirations.
