Chelsea Pursues New Head Coach After Rosenior's Exit

Chelsea is in the process of identifying a new permanent head coach after the dismissal of Liam Rosenior last month. The club has initiated contact with several prospective managers, including Andoni Iraola, Xabi Alonso, Marco Silva, and Oliver Glasner.

These candidates are already known to the club and are being considered for the role. Additionally, former Flamengo head coach Filip Luis and Cesc Fabregas, who is currently managing Como, are also under consideration.

The club hopes to appoint a new head coach in time for the start of pre-season training, which is scheduled for early July. Notably, Iraola, Alonso, Silva, and Glasner are currently without clubs at the end of the season, meaning Chelsea will not need to pay compensation for their services.

Glasner has expressed an openness to staying in England, according to reports from BBC.
