Chelsea and European Clubs Eye Kwara Football Academy Youngsters

The Kwara State Sports Commission chairman disclosed that Chelsea FC and several European clubs have shown interest in signing three talented players from Kwara Football Academy: Abduljelil Kamaldeen, Uthman Tajudeen, and Ifeanyi Ikechukwu. This move is expected to boost the state's sports sector and generate revenue.

Furthermore, a 16-year-old squash player, Shuaib Giwa, is set to represent Nigeria in an international tournament in Canada, sponsored by the Kwara State government. The state's sports facilities are being upgraded, reflecting Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq's commitment to nurturing athletic talent.
