Davido Faces Legal Warning Over Child Custody Case

The legal representative for Sophia Momodu, a Nigerian singer and the mother of Davido's child, has issued a strong warning to Davido and his fans concerning intimidation tactics amid an ongoing child custody case. The lawyer, from Punuka Attorney, condemned the inflammatory public statements made by Davido, particularly a recent post that mistakenly involved popular gospel artist Tosin Bee.

The statement, released on Monday, emphasized that the custody matter is currently sub judice and should be resolved solely by the court based on evidence and law. The firm stressed that any attempts to intimidate legal practitioners undermine the rule of law and are unacceptable.

The warning comes in light of Davido's expressed frustrations on social media, which have raised concerns about the conduct of the parties involved in the custody proceedings in Lagos State court.
