Davido Ends Custody Battle Over Imade Amid Court Drama

Nigerian singer Davido, whose full name is David Adeleke, has decided to drop the custody battle for his first child, daughter Imade, with Sophia Momodu. The court proceedings became contentious when Sophia's lawyer questioned Davido's ability to guarantee Imade's safety, referencing the tragic passing of his son Ifeanyi in October 2022.

This remark reportedly upset Davido, leading him to lose his temper in the courtroom. The proceedings were halted, and upon reconvening, the judge asked Davido to apologize to the court and the lawyer.

However, Davido refused, insisting that mentioning his deceased son was unacceptable. He expressed that no one has lost more than him regarding Imade and emphasized that he would not drop the case, expressing optimism that Imade would grow up knowing he fought for her.
