China Welcomes US-Iran MoU Amid Peace Efforts

The Chinese government has expressed its approval of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran, acknowledging the mediation efforts by Pakistan. Lin Jian, spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, stated that China appreciates the MoU, which aims to address military operations in the region, including Lebanon.

Lin Jian emphasized that China hopes the United States and Iran will sign the first phase of the MoU, which is scheduled to be relevant to the parties involved. He reiterated that China remains committed to working with the international community to play a constructive role in restoring peace and stability in the Middle East and the Gulf region at the earliest opportunity.
