Chinyeaka Ohaa Resigns as ESUT Governing Council Chairman

Chinyeaka Ohaa has formally resigned from his position as the chairman of the governing council of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), with the resignation taking effect on February 23, 2026. In a letter addressed to the governor of Enugu State, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Ohaa expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to serve and described it as an honor and privilege to contribute to the growth and development of the university.

He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing education in the state and requested the governor to accept his assurances of goodwill towards the advancement of education in Enugu State. Ohaa has a background in public administration, having previously served as a federal permanent secretary across several ministries, including the Ministry of Power and the Federal Capital Territory Administration in Abuja.
