Chude Jideonwo Debuts Political Drama 'Madam President'

Chude Jideonwo, a media entrepreneur and personality, made his scripted filmmaking debut with the political drama "Madam President," which premiered on July 21, 2026, on the ChudeFilms YouTube channel. This three-part series, inspired by real-life events in Nigerian politics, marks Jideonwo's first executive producing credit on a scripted project after a career focused on documentaries and his talk show, #WithChude.

Jideonwo, who previously declined opportunities in scripted content, expressed that the story is significant to him. The series, co-executive produced by Jennifer Mairo and directed by Mercy "Big Star" Osazuwa, is produced by Joy, Inc. in collaboration with YNaija Studios, with support from Africa No Filter and CcHUB Creative Economy. "Madam President" features an ensemble cast including Peggy Ovire, Teniola Aladese, Ayo Adesanya, and others, exploring themes of leadership, accountability, and the role of women in a corrupt political system.

Following its YouTube premiere, the series will also air on WAP TV, Wazobia TV, and Rave TV.
