CIoD Chairman Urges South-West Executives to Drive Growth

During the second annual general meeting held on Wednesday in Abeokuta, Otunba Adetunji Oyebanji, the chairman of the Institute of Directors Nigeria (CIoD), emphasized the importance of the newly inaugurated South-West executives in driving membership growth and maintaining high standards of corporate governance. He urged members to prioritize integrity and innovation while contributing ideas to advance the South-West branch.

The meeting also saw the swearing-in of Dr. Remi Bakar as the new chairman, who pledged to build on the achievements of his predecessor, Chief Bode Mustapha, under whose leadership 27 new members were added, increasing total membership to 154.

Oyebanji called for active engagement in zonal activities and strategic outreach to ensure that every qualified leader in the South-West is recognized by CIoD. The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including Olori Omoshalewa Aboderin and Prof.
