City Boy Movement Dismisses Oyo Coordinator for Misconduct

The City Boy Movement (CBM) has officially removed Ajibola from his position as the Oyo State Coordinator due to allegations of gross misconduct, insubordination, and actions detrimental to the organization's interests. This decision was communicated in a statement by the Director-General of the Movement, Hon. Francis Oluwatosin Shoga.

The disciplinary action followed a petition against Ajibola, who was previously issued a notice to show cause on June 2, 2026, requiring a response within 48 hours. The statement accused Ajibola of making abusive and derogatory remarks towards the national leadership of the Movement, including the Director-General, and of making offensive comments about the Movement’s Patron, Barr.

Seyi Tinubu, as well as directing derogatory remarks at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Additionally, Ajibola was alleged to have challenged a leader in Oyo State to a physical confrontation, created division within the state chapter, and engaged in conduct that could harm the Movement's reputation.

Ajibola was warned that failure to provide a satisfactory defense could lead to further disciplinary actions.
