Ajibola Denies Misconduct Claims After Resigning from City Boy

Chief Ahmed Ajibola recently resigned from the City Boy Movement in Oyo State, refuting allegations of misconduct that some blogs have linked to his departure. Ajibola clarified that he resigned voluntarily after turning down two separate appointments from the organization.

The first appointment, dated August 1, 2026, was a change in his role from State Coordinator to Coordinator, Directorate Affairs, signed by Hon. Olufemi Onireti, the State Director.

The second offer, dated August 5, 2026, was for the position of Coordinator of Stakeholders’ Engagement for the South-West Geopolitical Zone from the National Leadership of the Movement. Ajibola emphasized that the existence of these appointment letters contradicts claims of forced resignation due to misconduct, stating there were no disciplinary actions against him.

He urged the public to disregard the unfounded allegations and confirmed that his relationship with the Movement remains cordial despite his resignation.
