Isaac Fayose Calls Citi Boi Movement Event a "Show of Shame"

Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, publicly criticized the Citi Boi Movement's outing in Owerri, Imo State, calling it a "show of shame" due to the low turnout of attendees. Despite the presence of various celebrities, including popular socialites and businessmen, the event failed to attract a significant crowd.

Fayose took to his Facebook page to express his disappointment, noting that security personnel at the event outnumbered the attendees. Additionally, the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, made remarks during the event regarding ongoing economic reforms and the impact of rising global fuel prices, which analysts attribute to tensions in the Middle East disrupting global oil supply routes.
