Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Kudirat Motomori Olatokunbo has approved the online application process for lawyers seeking appointment as Notaries Public in Nigeria. This move, aimed at modernizing the appointment process, allows legal practitioners to apply digitally through a newly launched secure online portal.

The Director of Information and Public Relations at the Supreme Court, Dr. Festus Akande, highlighted the significance of this decision in enhancing efficiency and accessibility within the legal community.

Interested and qualified lawyers can now submit their applications online, streamlining the submission process and ensuring a quicker review. This marks a significant step towards embracing digital innovation in the legal sector in Nigeria.
