COAS reshuffles Nigerian Army high command, appoints new GOCs, PSOs

Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) in Nigeria, has approved a major reshuffle in the Nigerian Army's high command. This reshuffle includes the appointment of new General Officers Commanding (GOCs) and Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) in key positions.

The COAS stated that this move is part of a strategic effort to strengthen leadership and enhance the operational effectiveness of the Nigerian Army. Some of the senior officers appointed to new roles include Maj Gen AA Adeyinka as the Chief Logistics of the Army, Maj Gen AA Adekeye as the Chief Personnel Management of the Army, and Maj Gen AA Idris as the Chief Military Intelligence of the Army.

The newly appointed officers are tasked with redoubling their efforts to ensure the ongoing fight against terrorism and insurgency in Nigeria.
