Command warns schools against misuse of police, military uniforms

The Adamawa State Police Command issued a warning to schools against the unauthorized use of police and military uniforms by students. This warning came after a disturbing photo circulated on social media showing a student wearing police or military attire during a costume day celebration.

The Command stated that such actions are indecent and damaging to the reputation of the security agencies. The Commissioner of Police, CP Morris Dankombo, emphasized that the unauthorized use of police uniforms is a criminal offense that undermines the integrity of the security agency and misleads the public.

The Command urged schools and individuals to refrain from using security uniforms without permission, emphasizing that anyone found engaging in this illegal practice will be dealt with decisively according to the law. SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer, warned that such actions will not be tolerated and called for immediate compliance with the directive.
