Police tackles unauthorized use of its uniform in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has taken action against the unauthorized use of its uniform by a student during a costume day activity. In a press statement, the Command's Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, clarified that the use of police or military uniforms in such a manner is a criminal offense that undermines the integrity of the security agency.

The Command emphasized that such actions are unacceptable and portray the police in a negative light. The Commissioner of Police, CP Morris Dankombo, has ordered an investigation into the matter to ensure those involved are brought to justice.

The Command warned individuals, groups, or institutions to refrain from using security uniforms without authorization, stating that anyone found doing so will face legal consequences.
