Obi Critiques Tinubu's Leadership After Plateau Visit

Obi described Tinubu's visit as a "complete absence of leadership," highlighting the inadequacy of the president's response to the victims of the violence.

He noted that Tinubu's decision to meet victims at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, rather than visiting the actual scene of the attacks, conveyed a sense of abandonment to those suffering. Obi stressed that Tinubu's actions demonstrated a lack of empathy and a willingness to engage with the pain of the affected individuals.

In contrast, the president defended his decision, explaining that the airport's runway does not support night flights due to navigational aid limitations, making it impractical to visit the attack scene directly.
