Constituents Back Wase with APC Nomination Form Purchase

Constituents from Plateau State have purchased a nomination form for the All Progressives Congress (APC) on behalf of former Deputy Speaker Ahm Wase, who has expressed interest in returning to the National Assembly in the 2027 elections. The form, valued at N24 million, was presented during a ceremony at the APC state secretariat.

Ibrahim Galadima, representing Wase, highlighted his 20 years of service in the National Assembly and emphasized the community's support for his candidacy. APC state chairman Rufu Batur acknowledged the gesture as unique and expressed gratitude for the constituents' appreciation of Wase's contributions.

Batur noted that while the party provides a level playing field, it is ultimately up to the people to decide on their representatives. The event saw participation from various political office holders, retired public servants, youth groups, and religious leaders, all voicing their support for Wase's continued representation.
