Continental Hotels and UNICEF Empower Nigerian Youth

Continental Hotels Group has announced a strategic partnership with UNICEF's Genu 9ja platform to empower Nigerian youth, especially young women, by equipping them with relevant skills for Nigeria's rapidly expanding hospitality and tourism service industry. The partnership will leverage Continental Hotels' expertise in world-class hospitality and Genu 9ja's proven track record in youth skill and livelihood development initiatives.

Participants will receive hands-on training, mentorship, and certification opportunities aligned with global hospitality standards. The program will focus on building workplace readiness, including customer service excellence, operational skills, and sustainable career pathways for entry-level roles and leadership positions in Nigeria's hospitality sector.

This initiative aims to address critical skill gaps and promote inclusive economic opportunities, particularly for young women who are often underrepresented. The partnership is part of a broader commitment to position Nigeria as a leading hospitality hub in Africa.

The initiative will roll out through the Continental Hotels Hospitality Academy in collaboration with Genu 9ja, with training programs planned for properties in Lagos and Abuja, expanding nationwide.
