Cornerstone Insurance PLC has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited of a Board of Directors meeting scheduled for Wednesday, 29th July, 2026, to consider the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the Second Quarter ended 30th June, 2026. The filing also confirms that a Closed Period commenced on 1st July, 2026, during which insiders are prohibited from trading the company's securities.
Cornerstone Insurance PLC (NGX: CORNERST) has filed a formal notice with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) disclosing that its Board of Directors will convene on Wednesday, 29th July, 2026, at the company's registered address — Cornerstone Complex, 21, Water Corporation Drive, Off Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos — at 12:00 pm.
The sole agenda item for the meeting is the consideration of the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the Second Quarter ended 30th June, 2026 (Q2 UFS 2026).
In connection with this meeting, Cornerstone Insurance confirms that a Closed Period took effect from Wednesday, 1st July, 2026, in compliance with Rule 17.18(a) of the NGX Rulebook, 2015 (Issuers' Rules), as amended. The Closed Period provisions are also incorporated into Sections 5 and 6 of the company's own Securities Trading Policy.
Under the Closed Period restriction, all company insiders are barred from trading in Cornerstone Insurance securities until at least 24 hours after the Q2 UFS 2026 results are released to the public. The notice was signed by PAC Solicitors in the capacity of Company Secretary.
