Corona Lekki School Graduates Pioneer Class Amid Tech Boost

Corona Day Secondary School, Lekki, celebrated the graduation of its pioneer set of 32 students, who enrolled in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. The class of 2026 showcased resilience, earning numerous awards and recognitions.

The school's management, supported by the Corona Schools Alumni Association, has decided to upscale technology investments, including virtual and augmented reality systems, to enhance the learning experience. They have incorporated artificial intelligence into five subjects to ensure students are hands-on in experiential learning and globally competitive.

Mr. Olaniyi Yusuf, Chairman of the Corona Schools’ Trust Council, expressed gratitude to parents for their trust during uncertain times.

Principal Mr. Oluwagbemileke Amoo reflected on the fulfillment of their mission, noting that the salutatorian scored 363 in UTME, ranking 11th nationally.

The graduates excelled in academics and extracurricular activities, including sports and public speaking, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
