ADC's Bolaji Abdullahi Warns Against Corruption

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), under the leadership of Bolaji Abdullahi, has declared a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption within its ranks. Abdullahi stated that the party will not protect any member who is investigated and found guilty of corrupt practices.

He emphasized the need for the ADC to distinguish itself from Nigeria's traditional political class by introducing an ethics code that will hold its officials accountable. This code is expected to be made public soon.

Abdullahi criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) for being lenient towards corrupt politicians within its ranks, referencing former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and former Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami as examples of politicians who should face justice. He argued that the law should treat everyone equally, regardless of political affiliation, and highlighted the importance of restoring public confidence in politicians through accountability measures.
