Nigerian Court Convicts Nnamdi Kanu for Terrorism and Inciting Violence

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been found guilty by a Federal High Court in Abuja for offenses related to belonging to a proscribed terror group and inciting violence. The court's judgment in Kanu's terrorism trial convicted him on counts three, four, five, and seven, citing credible evidence linking him to IPOB and its affiliated group, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Kanu was also found responsible for inciting violence that led to the deaths of security personnel and destruction of property, including police stations across Nigeria.
