Court to Decide on Lawsuit Against 2025 PDP Convention on October 31

The Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice James Omotosho, has scheduled October 31 for the judgment in a case brought by three aggrieved members of the PDP. The lawsuit aims to stop the 2025 PDP National Convention, alleging breaches of the party's constitution.

The plaintiffs, including Hon. Austin Nwachukwu and Hon.

Amah Abraham Nnanna, are challenging the planned convention set for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State. The defendants include key PDP officials and INEC representatives.

The lawsuit raises concerns about electoral processes and compliance with party regulations.
