Court to Decide on PDP Convention Suit Amid Alleged Rule Violations

The Federal High Court in Abuja has scheduled October 31, 2025, for judgment on a suit brought by three aggrieved members of the PDP seeking to halt the party's upcoming national convention. The suit alleges violations of the party's rules.

The plaintiffs include Austin Nwachukwu, Amah Abraham Nnanna, and Turnah Alabh Georg. The court warned against flouting its directives and emphasized the need to maintain the status quo.

Legal counsels, including Joseph Daudu, argued on compliance with the party's constitution and electoral laws. The defendants, including key PDP officials, are set to defend their actions in court.
