Court Reaffirms Order to Maintain Status Quo in PDP Convention Suit

The Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice James Omotosho, has reaffirmed an order to maintain the status quo in a suit filed against the People's Democratic Party (PDP), preventing any actions that could jeopardize the party's legal standing. The court emphasized the need for a speedy hearing of the case, warning against resorting to self-help.

The suit challenges the legality of the PDP's national convention scheduled for November 15th-16th in Ibadan, Oyo State. Lawyer Chris Uche SAN highlighted the importance of respecting the court's decisions and ensuring a fair legal process.
