Court Issues Injunction Against Godmad Home Limited Sale

On April 2, 2026, the Lagos State High Court, presided over by Justice Rosul Oriyomi Olukolu, granted an interim injunction against Godmad Home Limited, the owner represented by Ayoolanrewaju Kuyebi. The injunction was in response to a legal challenge concerning the sale of a property valued at N295.5 million located at Osborn Foreshore II, Ikoyi.

The court's decision followed an ex parte motion filed by Abdulhakeem Adio on the same date. The injunction bars the developer from transferring, selling, or otherwise disturbing the property while the substantive case is pending, with the next hearing scheduled for April 2, 2026.

The buyer had entered into a contract on November 4, 2022, for a five-bedroom terrace duplex and a one-bedroom boys' quarter, with a delivery deadline set for July 31, 2024. Allegations were made that Godmad Home Limited failed to meet this deadline and had repeatedly breached contractual terms, leading to the buyer's rejection of a proposed price increase to N450 million.
