Court Orders Seizure of Jonathan's Multi-Billion Housing Estate Over Alleged Misconduct

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ruled in favor of the Federal Government to seize a multi-billion naira housing estate linked to former President Goodluck Jonathan. The court's decision follows allegations of financial misconduct and corruption related to the project.

Justice Moham Umar granted the motion filed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) without opposition from the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN). The court ordered the forfeiture of two major plots of land in Abuja, emphasizing the need to protect public interest and recover the project's value funded by public resources.
