Court Remands Nnamdi Kanu's Brother and Lawyer in Abuja Over Protest Charges

The magistrate court in Kuje, Abuja, ordered the remand of Nnamdi Kanu's younger brother and lead counsel following their arrest during a protest by the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow movement. The duo, along with 10 others, were arraigned on charges of inciting disturbance, breaching public peace, violating court orders, and disrupting free movement in Abuja.

The protest was demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader, who is currently in DSS custody. Professor Chidi Odinkalu confirmed the arraignment and criticized the charges brought against them.
