Court Remands Passenger Who Assaulted Ibom Air Crew In Kirikiri Until October 6

A passenger, Emmanson, who allegedly assaulted Ibom Air crew members, has been remanded in Kirikiri until October 6. The police arraigned Emmanson for assault and willful property damage.

He reportedly shouted, abused, and assaulted a crew member upon landing, violating aviation regulations. Emmanson also allegedly hit another passenger and damaged aircraft property.

A viral clip showed him attacking a flight attendant before being confronted by airport security. Ibom Air stated that Emmanson's behavior posed a serious safety threat to crew and passengers.

The incident occurred after Emmanson refused to comply with standard aviation safety procedures. The airline has barred him from flying on their aircraft.

The case will continue on October 6.
