Court Restrains Jude Gbaboyo from Blackmailing Presidential Amnesty Coordinator in Delta State

In a legal development, the Delta State High Court in Warri granted an interim injunction restraining Jude Gbaboyo Akpodubakay from posting defamatory videos against Presidential Amnesty Coordinator Denni Brutu Otuaro. The court, presided over by Hon.

Justice O. Akpovi, approved the injunction following a suit filed by Otuaro against Gbaboyo.

The case, with suit number W/39/2025, involves allegations of defamatory posts on social media platforms. B.E.

Oghenekaro, representing Otuaro, sought the injunction to prevent further damage to Otuaro's reputation pending a determination on the matter. The court adjourned the case to March 30th and April 27th, 2026, for further proceedings, including a hearing on the interlocutory injunction motion.
