Court Dismisses Suit Challenging Senator Natasha's Suspension

Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja dismissed a suit filed by Senator Godswill Akpabio challenging the suspension of Senator Natasha from Kogi Central. The court ruled that the plaintiff lacked the legal standing to challenge the suspension, as the Senatorial District would not be shortchanged during the suspension period.

The suit, filed on grounds of alleged misconduct, was thrown out for lacking merit. The ruling affirmed the legality of Senator Natasha's suspension and upheld the Senate's disciplinary actions.
