Court Rules to Deliver Judgment in Nnamdi Kanu's Absence in Terrorism Trial

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ruled to deliver judgment in the absence of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, in his terrorism trial. Justice James Omotosho invoked Section 266(1) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, allowing the trial to proceed without Kanu's presence due to his disruptive conduct in court.

Kanu had sought to file final written addresses before judgment, but the court decided to continue without him. The decision was made to prevent further delays and maintain the sanctity of the court proceedings.
