Middle-Belt Tigers Win Inaugural Nigeria Super League

The Middle-Belt Tigers were crowned champions of the inaugural Nigeria Super League after defeating the Southern Sharks by six runs in a dramatic final held at the TB Cricket Oval. The Tigers won the toss and elected to bat, scoring 104 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 10 overs.

Solomon Chilemanya set the tone with a quick 17 runs off 7 balls, while David N. Ankrah contributed significantly with 22 runs off 10 balls.

The Southern Sharks, chasing a target of 105, managed to score 98 runs for 7 wickets, with Isesel Odion leading their effort with 26 runs off 21 balls. The Tigers' bowling attack, led by Kei Ndubudem Elochukwu and Awodel Shina, restricted the Sharks effectively.
