South-East Claims Double Victory at NCF U-17 Championship

The NCF National U-17 Championship concluded at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, with the South-East region emerging victorious in both the female and male categories. The female team secured the title by defeating the South-South team by three wickets.

South-East's bowlers, led by Amarachi, who took two wickets for nine runs, set a strong foundation. Despite a challenging batting performance, Oko Theresa's patient 33 runs off 46 balls helped guide the team to a total of 98 runs, successfully chasing down South-South's score of 96 runs.

In the male category, South-East defeated South-West by 23 runs, posting a total of 145 runs. Captain Ejiofor Chiemezi contributed 18 runs, while Onya Chukwuemeka Samuel led the bowling attack with three wickets for 22 runs.
