The South East Zone dominated the 7th NCF/PwC National U17 Championship held at Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, securing titles in both the female and male categories. In the female final, South East defeated the South South team by 3 wickets, successfully chasing a target of 97 runs.

Key performances included Amarachi, who took 2 wickets for 9 runs, and Oko Theresa, who scored a crucial 33 runs off 46 balls. The South East female team finished with 98 runs for 7 wickets in 18.4 overs.

In the male final, South East showcased disciplined bowling to defeat South West by 23 runs, achieving a total of 123 runs.
