Crisis Hits PENGASSAN as Members Accuse Chairman of Undemocratic Conduct

Crisis erupts in PENGASSAN as members accuse national chairman Festus Osifo of undemocratic conduct and violating the constitution. The petition, involving the Nigerian Midstream Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) branch, alleges unresolved issues and interference in the electoral process.

Members raised concerns about the leadership's disregard for their grievances despite numerous attempts to address them. The group of 523 members from the NMDPRA branch rejected the appointment of a caretaker committee by the national leadership without proper elections.

They called for government intervention to address the leadership crisis within PENGASSAN.
