Cross River State Boosts Agriculture with Tractor Distribution

Cross River State Governor Ben Ayade launched the distribution of subsidized mini tractors to farmer cooperatives as part of the state's agricultural transformation agenda. The initiative aims to shift towards full-scale mechanized rural empowerment, boosting agricultural productivity and reducing labor costs.

A total of 324 tractors are expected to be deployed state-wide, with a focus on promoting cassava, maize, soybean, and sorghum cultivation in partnership with Flour Mills PLC.
