Cubana Chief Priest Affirms Loyalty to Tinubu and APC

Cubana Chief Priest reaffirmed his "unshakable" loyalty to President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) during an interview. He dismissed suggestions that his recent loss of the APC ticket for the Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East federal constituency would weaken his support for the party.

He stated that his commitment to Tinubu remains steadfast, as he aims to mobilize efforts in the Southeast, including support for the Citi Boi movement. Cubana Chief Priest explained that his decision to enter politics is driven by a desire to influence governance directly rather than merely commenting on social media.

He referenced the need for better resource utilization in Imo State and acknowledged the APC-led administration's achievements, including financial improvements and project execution without borrowing money. He also mentioned his voluntary step down from the APC primaries due to local political dynamics and noted that Tinubu does not fully trust Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate during the 2023 elections.
